Fire Assessments
Last night the crew stopped over to help me come up with a parts list of things to get the car running. Tim stopped by first and was first under the as as usual. That little fire ran all the way under the car and there are melted droppings of aluminum stuck to the factory exhaust. It was impressive to see the melted plastic shield under the car behind where the driver sits.

Wing Foils
Last year we learned a lesson with the One Lap VR4. Aero mods work. So this year when we were putting together the wish list for the One Lap Evo X we had aerodynamic improvments high on our list. Seeing that Daytona is on the route this year almost makes it a must have.

April Roadbumps and Wrong Parts
It is another moment to have a reality check as we enter into the first full week of April. Painting a picture of Tim and Steve sitting around sipping on fruity drinks with umbrellas waiting for the trip to start isn’t very realistic.
Having the car back in Rochester has put another layer of urgency on the list of things to do, encountering a few roadblocks
2011 Week 1 Highlights
It is hard to imagine that it is January and we are so busy trying to put a car together which doesn’t happen until May. The first week of the new year and the new season have been rather busy.
While Tim is out there making the calls and putting the parts together, I have been flopping the site over and bringing the marketing pieces that might fund this little adventure into place.
Logo Design
It really stinks to have to come up with a new logo. We had a really cool logo for the VR4

The One Lap of America team of Stephen Burke and Tim Harper have partnered with Magnus Motorsports to help build a competitive track car for the 2011 One Lap of America race. Marco Passante and the team at Magnus Motorsport are going to transform our stock EVO X from a competent track car to a monster, track clawing, Goliath slaying machine.
