Chris Wirth’s 2008 Evo X (2010-2011)

Chris ran this Car in 2010 and 2011 to WIN the mid-price sedan class 2 years in a row and captured top 10 positions overall.  For the event in 2011, he was sponsored and joined Team Igloo Racing, racing under their flag for the 2011 event.  After the One Lap event, in late May of 2011, Chris’s car suffered a traumatic fire in the engine bay, which resulted in a total loss of the vehicle.  Details of his car and how it was setup can be found on the Team Igloo Racing website.

Chris Wirth’s Evo X is his daily driver of choice that he brings to the various 1/4 mile drag strips a few times a year and is frequently running road courses with the rest of the team at Waktins Glen.  With a healthy list of modifications, the car’s power comes from Chris’s ability to not only tune the Evo platform, but to drive with calculated precision. Sean Caron will be co-piloting this car after he assists with dialing in the new BC Racing Coilover suspension that is planned for installation in the coming weeks as preperations are made for the 2010 One Lap of America.
